We are committed to providing a safe and trustworthy platform for all users, and this Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules and standards for responsible use of our services (the “LittleLink Services”).
By accessing or using the LittleLink Services, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy as well as the LittleLink Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies. Misuse of the LittleLink Services may result in restrictions on your access, removal of content, or suspension or termination of your account.
1. Eligibility
You may only use the LittleLink Services in compliance with this policy and applicable laws. If your access to the LittleLink Services is suspended or terminated for violations of this policy, any attempts to bypass such restrictions, such as creating new accounts, are strictly prohibited and may lead to permanent enforcement actions.
2. Prohibited Content
You are not permitted to use the LittleLink Services to distribute or promote content that:
- Hate Speech: Attacks individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition, including promoting organisations that hold such views.
- Exploitation of Children: Contains or promotes child exploitation or abuse.
- Misinformation: Includes false or misleading information, particularly in matters of public health, elections, or civic issues.
- Violent or Graphic Content: Depicts or promotes violence, threats, or graphic imagery intended to shock or harm.
- Non-consensual Sexual Content: Shares sexually explicit material without the subject’s consent.
- Self-Harm or Dangerous Acts: Promotes or encourages self-harm or behaviors that endanger personal or public safety.
- Terrorism: Advocates, supports, or glorifies terrorism or extremist activities.
- Illegal Activities: Contains any other content that violates local, state, national, or international law.
3. Prohibited Behaviour
You are also prohibited from using the LittleLink Services to engage in activities that are abusive, harmful, or illegal. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Malware and Hacking: Distributing viruses, malware, or using the platform for hacking or phishing attempts.
- Spam: Sending bulk unsolicited emails, SMS, or other messages (spam) via links or QR codes created with our Services.
- System Manipulation: Circumventing or exploiting LittleLink’s systems, including attempts to evade detection or moderation systems.
- Cloaking URLs: Using LittleLink to hide or misrepresent the destination of links through redirects or cloaking services.
- Doxxing: Sharing personal or confidential information about others without their consent.
- Violence or Threats: Engaging in or encouraging threats of violence, harassment, bullying, or coordinated attacks on individuals or groups.
- Impersonation: Impersonating any person or entity or falsely claiming affiliation with any organisation.
- Facilitating Illegal Activity: Promoting or engaging in illegal activities, including the sale of prohibited goods or services.
- Infringement of Intellectual Property: Using the LittleLink Services to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
4. Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is violating this Acceptable Use Policy, we encourage you to report the issue to us. We take all reports seriously and will thoroughly investigate any suspected misuse. If you believe your content or account has been mistakenly flagged for violating this policy, please contact us to appeal the decision.
5. Enforcement and Consequences
LittleLink is committed to maintaining a safe and secure platform. We reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary to protect the integrity of our Services, including:
- Restricting, suspending, or terminating user accounts.
- Removing content that violates this policy or other platform rules.
- Reporting violations to law enforcement or other relevant authorities if illegal activity is suspected.
Our enforcement actions will reflect not only the letter of this policy but also its spirit, in order to protect the trust and safety of our community.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or services. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the LittleLink Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
